Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter polishing method for ideally polishing an edge tip of a cutting edge, which cannot be done in conventional methods for polishing a cutter and a razor.SOLUTION: A cutter polishing method can perform polishing without generating any waste cutting edge at an edge tip of a cutting edge, by providing two abrasive wheels, between which a cutter or a razor is sandwiched and moved back and forth. Should any waste cutting edge be generated, the waste cutting edge will be removed from the cutter or the razor to allow an ideal cutting edge to be formed in this method using the two abrasive wheels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
