Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking tool for an NC process machine capable of being automatically attached to a main spindle of the NC process machine by utilizing ATC, for quickly and efficiently graving part information such as a part number and a rule mark for next processing on a work which is to be processed.SOLUTION: A marking tool for an NC process machine includes a milling chuck 30 of a type capable of being stocked in a tool magazine of ATC, and a making unit 40 which is grasped by the milling chuck 30. The marking unit 40 includes an outer tube 50 and a needle shank 60 equipped with a rule mark needle 70 at a tip end part. The needle shank 60 is slidable along the axial direction relative to the outer tube 50, while being assembled for so as not to relatively rotate. Between the outer tube 50 and the needle shank 60, a compression spring S is interposed, for elastically supporting vertical motion of the needle shank 60. The marking tool for the NC process machine can be used while being driven for rotation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
