Title:
CUTTER OF PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3730153
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter of printer in which snapping sound and vibration occurring between gears are suppressed.
SOLUTION: One-way clutch mechanism (40) of a cutter drive mechanism (20) comprises a drive gear (27) and a driven gear (28) wherein a cut (102) for a specified number of teeth is made at a part of the outer circumferential part of the driven gear to face against the tooth flank of a trigger gear member (T) having smaller number of gears than the gears at the cut and an arm part (A) for supporting the tooth flank while urging in the clockwise direction is provided. The cutter comprises means for imparting a clockwise urging force to the arm part of the trigger gear member, and a member (K) for regulating counterclockwise rotation of the driven gear itself under a state where a movable cutter is stopping at a home position. At the time of counterclockwise rotation, the drive gear also meshes the tooth flank of the trigger gear member to transmit a driving force to the driven gear. At the time of clockwise rotation, teeth of the trigger gear member is snapped back counterclockwise while resisting against the urging force 30 that a driving force is not transmitted to the driven gear counterclockwise rotation of which is regulated by the rotation regulating means.
