Abstract:
PURPOSE: To precisely stop a saw frame in a retraction limit position by positioning a piston in a cylinder end in the retraction limit position for the saw frame and arranging a cushion device in the cylinder end.
CONSTITUTION: A saw frame reciprocation driving hydraulic cylinder 15 is reciprocated in the predetermined stroke S from a rod side cylinder end E to an intermediate required part F, so that a circular saw 11 is reciprocated toward a cutting position P via a saw frame 12A, and consequently, a workpiece W is cut. In this process, a shock of the piston 17 in the rod side cylinder end E is eased by means of a cushion device 19 arranged in the rod side cylinder end E, even if the saw frame 12A is retracted at high speed from the advance limit position to the retraction limit position, that is, even if the piston 17 in the hydraulic cylinder 15 is reciprocated at high speed from the position F to the rod side cylinder end E.
