To provide a cutting device for a board which increases the productivity by preventing errors in a scribing process by the vibrations of belt conveyors and conveyor support beams from occurring, and to provide a cutting method for the board using the cutting device.
This cutting device for the board is constituted by including first and second belt conveyors which load and move the board, a scribing means, and a board supporting means. In this case, the scribing means is constituted at a location between the first and second belt conveyors with a specified interval, and executes scribing along a cutting planned line when the board has reached. The board supporting means is constituted in the same direction as the scribing direction of the board at a location between the first and second belt conveyors, and supports the board.
