Abstract:
To provide a cutting device which can stop driving of a blade more quickly, and to provide a stop method of the cutting device.SOLUTION: A cutting device includes: at least two pulleys; a blade wound around the respective pulleys; a driving source which rotates at least one of the pulleys to drive the blade; a driving stop mechanism which stops driving of the blade; and a winding release mechanism which releases the wound blade from the pulley. A method of stopping the driving of the blade in the cutting device including the at least two pulleys, the blade wound around the respective pulleys, the driving source which rotates the at least one of the pulleys to drive the blade simultaneously performs: a driving stop step in which the driving of the blade is stopped; and a winding release step in which the wound blade is released from the pulley.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
