Abstract:
Provided is a cutter capable of removing a foreign object adhered to a saw blade. This band saw 10 comprises: a saw blade 13 which can be operated so as to cut a workpiece B1; an electric motor 12 around which the saw blade 13 is wrapped and which causes the saw blade 13 to operate; a first saw wheel 19 and a second saw wheel 20; and a housing 11 in which the electric motor 12, the first saw wheel 19 and the second saw wheel 20 are housed. Said band saw 10 comprises a removal mechanism 31 which, by making contact with the saw blade 13, removes a foreign object adhered to the saw blade 13.
