PURPOSE: To minimize adhesion of cutting chips and the like to a vise guide.

CONSTITUTION: This cutting machine positions a material to be cut in a material feed direction in a material feed area A1, and cuts the material to be cut by a cutting head at a cutting position in the material feed area A1. A front material feed vise device 27 which clamps the material to be cut to the more forward side than the cutting position when viewed from the material feed direction is mounted so as to move in the material feed direction. A rear material feed vise device 29 which clamps the material to be cut to the more backward side than the cutting position when viewed from the material feed direction is mounted so as to move in the material feed direction. A vise guide 31 which supports the material feed vise devices 27, 29 so as to slide in the material feed direction is mounted so as to be positioned at an area A3 which is deviated in the horizontal direction from the material feed area A1.
