Abstract:
To provide a cutting method and a cutter in which any defective dimensions of a product can be eliminated by detecting the width of a work to be cut, or based on the detection of the width and the weight of the work to be cut, and the cutting efficiency is improved.
The width of the work W to be cut is detected by a work width detector 31 provided on a vice device 7, or the feed speed of the feed vice 7 is automatically set based on the width of the work obtained based on the pre-input work information, and the work is fed at this set feed speed, and the work is cut to the predetermined length.
