Abstract:
To provide a cutting tool, which does not cause path errors due to synchronous control, and a cutting apparatus using the same.
The cutting tool 10 is characterized in that the cutting tool 10 having a cutting edge at one end thereof is mounted to a main spindle of a cutting apparatus in order to plane a workpiece, and a tip end A of the cutter blade 12, which is an object for feed control of the cutting tool mounted to the rotary main spindle, is always located on an axis of the main spindle. In this method, the X coordinate and Y coordinate of the main spindle are controlled such that the tip end A of the cutter blade 12 is always located on the axis of the main spindle.
