Abstract:
To provide a cutting tool with a long life, which restrains an edge chipping.
In this cutting tool, cutting blades comprises: a flat cutting edge 21a extending almost in parallel to a feeding direction of the cutting tool; an auxiliary cutting edge 21b crossing with the flat cutting edge 21a and extending forward in a feeding direction of the flat cutting edge 21a; and a main cutting edge 21c crossing with the auxiliary cutting edge 21b and extending in a cutting direction. An approach angle b of the auxiliary cutting edge 21b is set within a range of 75 or more and 88 or less, and a rake angle p of the auxiliary cutting edge 21b is set within a range of -10 or more and 25 or less.
