Title:
CUTTING TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1199289
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To dispense with changing the direction of holding cutting edges, and facilitate visual recognition of an object for cutting by arranging the cutting edges in a symmetrical V-form in a plane view, tilting from both outsides of a cutting tool body to the head.

Two sheets of steel 37, 39 are welded at the rear ends so that the shape of the side may be nearly V-shaped. A cutter body 35 that is given elasticity enough to resist a force to close the open portions at the head is formed. Upper cutting edges 43, 45 and lower cutting edges 47, 49, each having a symmetrical V form in a plane view, tilting toward the head's centers 41 from the both side edges of the cutter body 35. The cutting edges 43, 45 and 47, 49 contact each other at the head's centers 41. By pressing the cutter body 35, the cutting edges 43 and 47, and 45 and 49 cut a thing. Therefore, irrespective of the direction of an object of cutting, it can cut a thin without shifting its holding. Thus, visual inspection of an object of cutting becomes easy.
