Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound good in stability in blood, exhibiting a good cell proliferation-inhibiting effect against cells in a low concentration and useful as a carcinostatic agent.
SOLUTION: A compound of formula I [R1 is a 3-10C alkyl; R2 is an aromatic hydrocarbon (substituted with a halogen, an azide, etc.); (n) is 0-4; the waved line exhibits that the steric configuration on the double bond is an E- configuration, a Z-configuration or their mixture], e.g. N-phenethyl-[(5S)-2-oxo-5- octyl-3-enecyclopentyliden-1-yl]hexamide. The compound of formula I is synthesized from optically active 4-TBS-2-cyclopentenone of formula II as a starting raw material through a compound of formula III, etc.
