PURPOSE: To obtain a cyclopeptide compound for cosmetic raw materials, analgesics, antihypertensive agents, etc., consisting of a cyclic tetrapeptide compound in which tyrosine and proline are alternately bound and having a melanogenetic enzyme group inhibiting activity, opioid activity and vasodepressor activity.
CONSTITUTION: The cyclopeptide compound expressed by the formula and having tyrosinase inhibiting activity, melanogenetic enzyme group inhibiting activity, opioid activity, antimicrobial activity, vasodepressor activity, etc., is obtained by inoculating a microorganism of Lactobacillus helveticus JCM-1120 strain, etc., into a culture medium, subjecting the cultured mixture to shake culture at 37°C for 2 day, successively carrying out scale up, recovering this lactic bacterium cultured mixture, subjecting the cultured mixture to centrifugal separation, collecting the cultured supernathat from which bacterial cell is removed, extracting the supernatant with ethyl acetate having an amount equal to the supernatant, evaporating the resultant ethyl acetate layer to dryness under reduced pressure to afford distillation residue, adding distilled water to this distillation residue, passing through reverse phase column to make the residue absorbed, eluting the absorbed material with 20% methanol and passing the active fraction through a gel permeation and high-performance liquid chromatography, etc., to purify the active fraction.
