To provide a cylinder head gasket 1 that has better sealing performance compared with prior art because there is no bubble section at a portion where a fluid infiltrates.
The cylinder head gasket 1 has an upper rubber layer 5 and a lower rubber layer 6 each provided on the upper and lower surfaces of a substrate 4. Combustion chamber holes 4A in the upper rubber layer 5 and the lower one 6 and the peripheral portion of an oil hole 9 are formed as bubble crushing portions 11 causing no bubble inside. The other areas of both rubber layers 5, 6 are composed of foam rubber having bubbles inside. Since there is no bubbles inside the bubble crushing portions 11, there is no room that what is called an open cell, which is formed when bubbles are communicated with each other inside the bubble crushing portions 11, is caused to occur.
