The manual hydraulic system 1 includes a lever 2, which can rock reciprocatingly; a manual hydraulic pump 3, which is connected to the lever 2 in such a way that hydraulic oil is sucked when the lever 2 is rocked in one direction C1 for reciprocating rock and the hydraulic oil is discharged when the lever 2 is rocked in the other direction C2; and a hydraulic cylinder system 4, which is structured to provide a tool T at the end of a piston rod 82 and operated by the hydraulic oil from the manual hydraulic pump 3. In the initial operation of the system 1, the lever 2 is engaged with the hydraulic cylinder mechanism 4 so as to set the tool T at the operating position when the lever 2 is rocked in the one direction C1.
