Abstract:
To prevent the temperature rise of a partial circumferential wall part of a recessed part for mounting a valve seat of an exhaust valve, in a cylinder head of an engine.
In this cylinder head 1 of the engine, a thickness of a part adjacent to an ignition plug in a hole 4 and faced to a cooling water jacket 11, of the circumferential wall part 10 of the circular recessed part 7 for mounting the valve seat 9 of the exhaust valve, is thinner than that of a part faced to the cooling water jacket 11 at an opposite side with respect to the ignition plug.
