To prevent the radiation of electromagnetic wave by surely grounding a mesh wire of a shield wire for feeding the power to a hermetic electric compressor.
An L-shaped wire supporting piece 8 caulking and clamping a fitting 72 caulked to the mesh wire 74 covering the shield wire 7 for feeding the power to a motor part 3 of the hermetic electric compressor 1, is firmly mounted on a metallic connector case 5 by means of a bolt 87. Thereby the grounding resistance of the mesh wire 74 is remarkably reduced, and the radiation of the electromagnetic wave can be surely prevented. In prior arts, the grounding resistance is increased by contact resistance between a spring and the connector case 5 when the epoxy resin is packed in the connector case 5, as a member used for the fitting 72 is elastically connected to the connector case 5 by a leaf.
