Title:
CYLINDRICAL BONDED MAGNET AND CORELESS MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002343661
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a cylindrical bonded magnet, where pole orientation is made, the orientation direction of the cylindrical bond magnet does not coincide with the formation direction of a weld line, adverse effects due to the weld line is less likely to received, and magnetic characteristics are superior, to provide a cylindrical boned magnet where the pole orientation is made, the orientation direction of the cylindrical bonded magnet can be made to be easily coincided with the polarization direction, and the magnetic characteristics and cost performance are superior, and to provide a coreless motor using the cylindrical bonded magnet.

In this cylindrical bonded magnet, anisotropic rare-earth-based magnetic powder is oriented in the section radial direction of a cylindrical injection molding body, where mixture containing the anisotropic rare-earth- based magnetic powder and a thermoplastic resin is subjected to injection molding in a cylindrical cavity. A gate section is provided at a position that exists on a straight line, that passes through a center point on the end face of the cylindrical bonded magnet and in a direction being perpendicular to the orientation direction of the anisotropic rare-earth-based magnetic powder. In the gate section, a recess or a projection is provided.
