PURPOSE: To provide a cylindrical bush assembly able to support a shaft slidably and desirably by a cylindrical bush over a long period of time without the generation of such a state that the cylindrical bush slips out of a supporting member even if stress relaxation is generated to the fittingly fixed part to the supporting member.
CONSTITUTION: In a cylindrical bush assembly 1, the outer peripheral surface 5 of a cylindrial bush 4 made of synthetic resion so as to support a shaft 3 slidably on the inner peripheral surface 2 is fittingly fixed into the through hole 7 of a supporting member 6 with an interference, and on one end face 9 side of the cylindrical bush 4 protruding from one side face 8 of the supporting member 6, an endless groove 10 extended in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical bush 4 is formed on the outer peripheral surface 5 of the cylindrical bush 4. The cylindrical bush 4 is then press-fitted into the through hole 7 of the supporting member 6 so that the distance from the end face 9 of the cylindrical bush 4 to the side face 8 of the supporting member 6 is longer than the distance from the end face 9 of the cylindrical bush 4 to the opening end 11 of the endless groove 10 positioned on the end face 9 side.
