To provide a cylindrical linear motor that is easy to wire and easy to assemble.SOLUTION: A cylindrical linear motor 1 according to the present invention includes a rod 11, an armature 2 having a cylindrical shape and having a core 3 mounted on the outer periphery of the rod 11 and a winding 5 mounted on a slot 4 provided on the outer periphery of the core 3, a cover 17 that covers the outer periphery of the rod 11 and forms an annular gap G between the cover and the rod 11, a field 6 in which the rod 11, the cover 17, and the armature 2 are cylindrically inserted inward so as to be movable in the axial direction, and N poles and S poles are alternately arranged in the axial direction, and a lead wire L that is housed in the gap G and has one end led out of the cover 17 and the other end connected to the winding 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
