To provide a roller bearing with a heat insulation sleeve having a flange, compact and of a nonseparable type and a fixing device using this roller bearing.
Side plates 21, 22 are formed on both sides of an outer ring 23 of a cylindrical roller bearing 20, a flange member 24 is press fitted and fixed on an outer diametrical surface of this outer ring 23, and a bent part 25 a head end diameter of which is larger than an inside diameter of the side plate 21 is formed on an inner ring 26 extended outward of the side plate 21. A flange 31 an outside diameter of which is larger than an inside diameter of the side plate 22 is provided on one end side of a heat insulation sleeve 29, and a projection 30 a head end diameter of which is larger than an inside diameter of the inner ring 26 is provided on the other end side. The outer ring 23 and the inner ring 26 are made nonseparable by fitting the inner ring 26 between the flange 31 and the projection 30 and the both side plates 21, 22 between the flange 31 and the bent part 25 of the inner ring 26.
