To provide a cylindrical woven fabric 1 making a guide cord slightly longer than the cylindrical woven fabric 1 penetrate a vertically opened double-woven part 2 formed in the cylindrical woven fabric 1 to enable a tape to be easily connected to the guide cord.

The cylindrical woven fabric 1 is woven by opening a plurality of warp yarns 5 in a prescribed order while adding tension to the warp yarns 5, and interweaving weft yarns 6 in the opening, and simultaneously the vertically opened double-woven part 2 extending in the length direction of the cylindrical woven fabric 1 is formed. The guide cord 7 fed with the warp yarn 5 is inserted into the vertically opened double-woven part 2 without extending the guide cord 7, and the resultant cylindrical woven fabric 1 thus woven is shrunk in the length direction by releasing the tension of the woven cylindrical woven fabric 1.
