Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a delay time for a response of dampening water control correspond with variation of a printing speed.
SOLUTION: A water content meter 42 measures quantities of ink and dampening water on a surface of a vibration roller 18, so that a water content (equal to emulsification balance of the ink to be applied to a plate cylinder) is measured on the vibration roller 18. When controlling the quantity of the dampening water applied to the plate cylinder by controlling rotation of a dampening water source roller 24 corresponding to a different between an output of the water content meter 42 and the target emulsification balance, a delay time for a response of the controlling is varied in accordance with a rotational speed information signal supplied from an operation section 36, so that a control section 38 always controls the dampening water adequately by corresponding to the variation of the printing speed.
