Abstract:
To provide an apparatus by which quantity of dampening water during printing can be continuously measured and monitored and based on the measured data on the quantity of the dampening water, the dampening water in the width direction of printing can be controlled by jetting air from an air nozzle.
A mechanism in which supporting bodies provided in parallel in the width direction of a roller are provided in the neighborhood of at least one roller for feeding the dampening water of an offset press and at least one gas jetting nozzle is provided so as to be able to selectively jet gas and the dampening water existing on the roller can be selectively removed by the jetting is provided.
