Abstract:
To provide a vibration control structure and a vibration control building capable of effectively absorbing vibration energy, even when applied to the middle layers or higher layers of a building body.SOLUTION: A vibration control structure 20 has vibration control dampers 25 inside a building body 2, and is equipped with penetration columns 21 provided penetrating through multiple floors of the building body 2, cantilever frames 22 provided to extend from the penetration columns 21 to a position near to one adjacent column 7A adjacent to the penetration columns 21, brackets 23 mounted to a height position separated in the vertical direction from tips 22s of the cantilever frames 22, of the one adjacent column 7A, and a vibration control dampers 25 provided between the tips 22s of the cantilever frames 22 and the bracket 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
