Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily and speedily execute backup by providing external RAM. CONSTITUTION:External RAM 30, a RAM card, for example, is introduced. A data transfer means 31 with external RAM 30 is provided for an NC main body 10. Thus, the copy of NC data which is initially stored in internal RA 13 is stored in external RAM 30. The content of external RAM 30 is held as it is without being affected by an external part as long as a RAM driver is not started. Thus, NC data which is initially stored in internal RAM 13 is maintained as it is. External RAM 30 such as the RAM card is easy to be handled and it can be connected with internal RAM 13 by a bus. Then, NC data can considerably speedily be transferred. Consequently, data can easily and speedily be backed up.
