Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the amount of data to be transferred and to shorten the transfer time, by referring to and comparing an extracted management table and a journal data, judging whether or not a data record in a transfer file extracted from a trunk data base needs to be transferred, and deleting record, which need not be transferred.
SOLUTION: When a user transfers only data records meeting specified conditions from the trunk data base 3 to an open data base 11, a DB extracting means 5 extracts the data records meeting the specified conditions from the truck data base 3 according to the request contents and stores them in the transfer file 9. Then an extraction management table 7 is referred to next and when the same operation has been done before for the same table name, an update DB extracting means 6 selects only updated data records by referring to the journal file 4. Then, an extracted data transfer means 8 is actuated so that the data records stored in the transfer file 9 are transferred in 'update mode'.
