To provide a data transferring device which DMA-transfers a large capacity of data for performing data transfer whose real time performance is secured, and for reducing the capacity of a memory for data storage.
A DMA controller 612 notifies which of an image plane (a) and an image plane (b) has made a data request to a main controller 544. A transfer order adjusting part 544B of the main controller 544 decides the image plane to be transferred based on an output timing to an image formation processing part 700 and an image compression rate acquired by a compression rate information acquiring part 544A when the transfer request has been made from the both image planes. Also, the transfer order adjusting part 544B decides a layer to be transferred based on the compression rate of the image of each layer acquired by the compression rate information acquiring part 544A. Each memory controller 614 is informed of the information of the image plane and layer to be transferred. The memory controller 614 stores it in a band memory 604.
