PURPOSE: To perform excellent deburring of a strip sheet by keeping the relative position of a rotary cutter to the side edge of the strip sheet in relation to the sickness and the cross direction of the strip sheet by an edge position control mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: The relative position of a rotary cutter 1 is kept constant in the cross direction of the strip sheet according to the side edge position of a lug cut strip sheet S detected by a sensor 9 and at the same time, is held constant in the fixed position corresponding to the thickness of the strip sheet S by support roller 6 and 6. Since the rotary cutter 1 is, therefore, moved following the winding of the strip sheet S, the cutter is prevented from catching the strip sheet resulting in the excellent deburring.
