PURPOSE: To decrease an occupied floor area and promptly feed a material, by feeding the fixed size material, while it is vertically held from the upper of a cart, to be dropped by dead weight and successively positioned between a fixed blade and a movable blade.

CONSTITUTION: A work W being a fixed size material is piled up on a truck 41 having a pantograph mechanism 39. A swivel frame structure 29, being driven by a fluid hydraulic cylinder 33 from a horizontal position to a vertical position, is equipped with vacuum cups 37. The cup 37, generating a negative pressure, attracts the work W to be attached sheet by sheet, and if the negative pressure is weakened in the vertical position of the frame structure 29, the work W, being dropped by its dead weight and guided by guide rollers 17, is cut by a fixed blade 7 and a movable blade 9. A shearing machine, feeding the work dropping by its dead weight, enables a sufficiently prompt feed of the material to be performed.
