Abstract:

To provide a deburring method and device that reduces load on a cutting tool at deburring, prevents damages of the cutting tool and is possible to exchange deburring tools quickly on a deburring method and device for a joint of rolling material in continuous rolling of metals, especially steels.

A deburring method and device at joint removes burr by tilting a blade 3 of a cutting tool for deburring to remove burr 4 at joint to a joint surface 5 after joining a preceding material 1 and succeeding material 2 to be rolled by continuous rolling. The device is provided with a deburring tool 3 to remove burr, a tool stand to fix deburring tool, a unit frame to install the tool stand so that it can be moved, a transfer device for moving the tool stand on the unit frame, and a deburring frame to mount the unit frame.
