To provide a deburring method and device preventing the generation of flaws in an inner circumferential face when removing burrs formed on the inner circumferential face of a hollow shaft.
The deburring device 6 is provided primarily with: a shaft part 7 having a brush 8 at its tip portion 7b and formed with a spiral oil groove 12 on its outer circumferential face; a drive mechanism 10 rotatingly driving the shaft part 7, and a protection tube 9 having a supply part 13 with a passage 14 at its upper end portion 9a and provided in the outer circumferential side of the shaft part 7 via a clearance C for protecting the shaft part 7. The shaft 7, the brush 8 and the protection tube 9 are inserted into a hollow part 2 of the drive shaft 1, and the shaft part 7 is rotatingly driven while supplying cutting oil to the inside of the clearance C via the passage 14 to remove the burrs formed at the respective hole edges 3a, 4a and 5a of respective pin holes 3, an oil hole 4 or other holes 5 formed in the drive shaft 1, which are positioned in the inner circumferential face of the hollow part 2 of the hollow part 2, while rotating the brush 8 with its contacting with the inner circumferential face.
