Title:
酢酸セルロースの分解方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3605445
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively easily decompose cellulose acetate as a hard-to- decompose material, to be used as e.g. a raw material for cigarette filters or photographic films, by using a mixed system of Rhizobium bacteria and Alcaligenes bacteria without affecting the natural environment. SOLUTION: A medium is incorporated with cellulose acetate powder 2.5 in degree of substitution and then put into a flask. Next, the weight of a cellulose acetate membrane 2.5 in degree of substitution is measured, the membrane is then packed in a net and put into the flask filled with the medium. Subsequently, the membrane is inoculated with a mixed system of Rhizobium bacteria (e.g. Rhizobium meliloti) and Alcaligenes bacteria [e.g. Alcaligenes (FERMP-15061)] followed by conducting a shaking culture at 27 deg.C; then, the cellulose membrane presents weight reduction at 22.0% 21 days after the beginning of the culture; at 50.5% and, 27.5%. Thus, the cellulose acetate with degree of substitution of 0.8 l 3.0 as a hard-to-decompose material can be relatively easily decomposed without affecting the natural environment.
