To provide an epoch-making decorative assembly which is of a monolithic structure consisting of a base board part (mount part) for placing a decorative article and an erection part (screen part) serving as a standing folding screen which are freely folded and unfolded so that these are handily packaged with the decorative article and enables the decorative article to be set in place for decorative purposes against a folding screen behind only by mounting it on the base board part and can use decorative articles such as a variety of ornaments having no traditional conception of using the folding screen behind, in such a way that the decorative article is set on the base board part with a back decorative effect of the folding screen, the decorative assembly alone being of a high merchandise value.

This decorative assembly comprises the base board part 2 on which the decorative article 1 is placed, the erection part 3 which serves as a decorative folding screen for the decorative article 1 placed on the part 2 and is provided at the rear edge part of the part 2 in a connectively installed fashion and a folding edge 4 which is formed at the erection part 3 so that the part 3 can be folded and lapped together. When the erection part 3 is folded and lapped together through the folding edge 4, the base board part 2 connectively installed to the erection part 3 is folded and held between the folded sections of the erection part 3.
