To provide a decorative panel which enables displaying of a decorative pattern formed of a phototransmissive base material in an arbitrary glittering color, using light in a visible light range, and is various/presentable.
A decorative pattern 12 is configured on the back 11b of a base material 11 by arranging continuously a large number of three-dimensional recessed reflective surfaces 121a in a two-dimensional direction along the back 11b. In addition, a diffraction grating 13 is formed on the interface with the air of the recessed reflective surface 121a, and further, a light of a specific wavelength is spectrally diffracted from incident light, in the visible light range, which is bound to come into the base material 11 by the diffraction grating 13. After these procedures, the decorative pattern 12 is made to develop a color by emitting the spectrally diffracted light from the surface of the base material 11, and thus, a gradation which changes according to function "f"(x) of 1/f fluctuation of the recessed reflective surface 121a, is caused to give rise to in the developed color brightness of the decorative pattern 12 by the diffracted light.
