PURPOSE: To prevent the reduction of the wall thickness at the middle point of the blank, by impressing the compression force on the outer circumference of the blank so as to compress the blank toward the middle point between two punches, at performing the deep drawing work parallelly with two punches.

CONSTITUTION: The blank 17 is placed on the die 10 and is held by the blank holder 16. The elevator 14 is moved down in order to push down the punches 15A, 15B, for starting the purposed deep drawing work. With the progress of the drawing process, the pressure plate holders 21A, 21B, move forward; hereby, the external force is impressed on the blank 17 through the pressure plates 18A, 18B, so as to compress the blank 17 from the outer circumferential sides 17a, 17b. As a result, the materials in these outer circumferential sides 17a, 17b, are forcibly fed toward the middle point between two punches 15A, 15B. Hereby, the blank is prefectly deep drawn and is provided with simultaneously deep drawn plural parts without reducing the wall thickness of the middle part of the blank.
