Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent floating of a winding in a deflecting coil in a part where curvature in the inside formed with a non-circular shape is enlarged, in a deflection yoke changing its shape from the inside gradually from a circular to a non-circular shape.
SOLUTION: In a deflecting yoke for a cathode ray tube formed by arranging a deflecting coil at least in the inside of a horn-shaped separator 32 of a small diameter in one end part and a large diameter in the other end part, this separator is formed in a shape with one end part inside in a circular shape and the other end part inside in a non-circular shape, in the inside of these both end parts, a groove 37 is provided, which regulates a position of a winding of the deflection coil. Further, in the vicinity of a position maximizing curvature of a cross section in a part formed with the non-circular shape, a hook 39 preventing floating of the winding 38 is provided.
