Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely shield light by molding a light shielding rib with high accuracy.
SOLUTION: The cartridge main body 11 of this photographic film cartridge is constituted of upper and lower cases 14 and 15 molded out of resin. A series of light shielding ribs 23 is formed so as to surround a film chamber 19, on the edge parts of respective partition plates 21 and 22 provided among an information chamber 18, a display chamber 20 and the film chamber 19 on the side of the lower case 15 and of the cartridge main body 11. The rib 23 is molded to a fixed dimension and shape by a metallic mode provided with an air vent path with the high accuracy by the combination of frames. On the side of the upper case 14, a groove is formed at a position corresponding to the rib 23 and the rib 23 of the lower case 15 is inserted into the grove of the upper case 14, when the upper and lower cases 14 and 15 are engaged by a pawl, so that the film chamber 19 is closed with air tightness.
