Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tremor correction device that has an excellent optical performance.SOLUTION: An image tremor correction device includes: a correction optical system for correcting an image tremor; a drive part that drives the correction optical system; a determination part that determines whether to correct the image tremor; a control part that controls the drive part; and a determination part that determines whether a mounted camera is a camera body of a first category or a second category, using a signal from a mounted camera body. When it is not determined by the determination part that the image tremor is corrected, if the mounted camera body is the camera body of the first category, the control part performs a first control to retain a position of the correction optical system at a prescribed position after a photograph operation by a photographer is performed, and if the mounted camera body is the camera body of the second category, the control part performs a second control to retain the position of the correction optical system at a prescribed position prior to the photograph operation by the photographer.
