To provide a deflection reduction device of a rotary shaft for a platform in a lifting device for a vehicle superior in smooth and stable getting on/off operation and superior in stiffness and durability.

In the lifting device for the vehicle, engagement of one side surface side of a platform in the two folded/standing state with a lifting gate frame opposed to one side surface side is removed, and the other side surface side of the platform is opened between both lifting gate frames by turning the platform in the laterally opened form making a strut shaft supported on the lifting gate frame as a center. On the side surface at the strut shaft side close to a distal end part of a main platform constituting the platform, an exclusive deflection-stop plate or an also used stopper plate is projectedly provided at an outer side than the side surface at the strut shaft side, and an engagement plate including an engagement part engaged with an engagement hole opened to the exclusive deflection-stop plate or the also used stopper plate at two-folded/standing of the platform is integrally arranged at a position close to an upper end part of the strut shaft.
