PURPOSE: To obtain a decomposable fishing line slowly decomposing and finally disappearing in natural environment by using a polyglycolic acid, a copolymer of glycolide and other monomer for decomposable polymer or a mixture of a polyglycolic acid and other decomposable polymer as constituent raw material.
CONSTITUTION: The decomposable fishing line is composed of a polyglycolic acid, a copolymer of glycolide and other monomer for decomposable polymer or a mixture of a polyglycolic acid and other decomposable polymer as constituent raw material. The decomposable fishing line is preferably added with a hydrophilic processing agent (e.g. organic or inorganic hydrophilization agent) to promote the decomposition in water. The decomposable polymer to be copolymerized or mixed with polyglycolic acid is e.g. polylactide, p-dioxanone and caprolactone chemically polymerized or synthesized by using L-lactide, D,L-lactide, D-lactide or mixture of L and D lactides as a raw material.
