This deinking device 1 has a vessel 11 for receiving disintegrated waste paper, at least the first lower compartment chamber and the second upper compartment chamber formed in the vessel 11 in a laminated state, a feed passage 3 for feeding the above-described waste paper and bubbles into the first compartment chamber, the first weir S1 vertically disposed on the bottom of the first compartment chamber so as not to contact with the ceiling portion T1 of the first compartment chamber, the first passage U1 for guiding the disintegrated waste paper invaded over the first weir from the first compartment chamber to the second compartment chamber, the first bubble-discharging passage W1 for discharging floated bubbles, the second weir S2 vertically disposed on the bottom of the second compartment chamber so as not to contact with the ceiling portion T2 of the second compartment chamber, the second passage U2 for discharging the disintegrated waste paper invaded over the second weir, and the second bubble-discharging passage W2 for discharging the floated bubbles from the second compartment chamber.
