Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a softener having an excellent softening property, an excellent slipping property and an excellent elastic property and capable of imparting a preferable touch to clothing products by compoundjng a specific cationic softening base material and an organopolysiloxane.
SOLUTION: This softener contains (A) one or more kinds of cationic softening base materials selected from tertiary amines (salts) each having a 11-36C hydrocarbon group containing an ester, amide or ether bond and their quaternary salts preferably in an amount of 3-30 wt.% and (B) an organopolysiloxane which can produce intramolecular or intermolecular crosslinks through bonds excluding covalent bonds, which is solid at a temperature of 20°C, and whose molded product is not broken or plastically deformed within an elongation of 0-15% at a temperature of 20°C and at a relative humidity of 65%. The organopolysiloxane is preferably contained in an amount of 0.1-10 wt.%.
