To provide a delivery device and delivery system, which works a continuously carried-in workpiece having a branching point.

The delivery device comprises: a gripping means for gripping the workpiece having the branching point; a turning means for turning the gripping means; a sensor means for detecting the existence of the workpiece on the rotational axis of the gripping means or in the position slightly shifted from the position on the rotational axis; and a turning angle calculating means for detecting the direction of the branching point and for calculating the turning angle for turning the branching point in a required direction. The direction of the workpiece is correctly set by turning the gripping means by means of the turning means by a specified angle and by turning the workpiece gripped by the gripping means by the turning angle calculated by the turning angle calculating means. The delivery system comprises the delivery device.
