Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit fixed curl removal effects regardless of types of paper sheets in a paper discharge device.SOLUTION: A paper discharge device includes a drive roller 41, a first driven roller 42, an energizing member 43 and a second driven roller 44. The drive roller 41 has a first outer peripheral surface S1 and rotates about a first axis A1. The first driven roller 42 has a second outer peripheral surface S2 coming into contact with the first outer peripheral surface S1 at a first contact location TP1, can come close to/separate from the drive roller 41 and rotates about a second axis A2 along with the rotation of the drive roller 41 to carry paper P. The energizing member 43 elastically energizes the first driven roller 42 relative to the drive roller 41. The second driven roller 44 includes a third outer peripheral surface S3 coming into contact with the first outer peripheral surface S1 at a second contact location TP2 downstream of the first contact location TP1, cannot be relatively displaced to the drive roller 41 and rotates about a third axis A3 along with the rotation of the drive roller 41 to carry the paper P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
