To provide a delivery for a sheet-fed printing press and an air guiding method within the delivery.
This delivery for the sheet-fed printing press is equipped with a gripper chain device having a portion during feeding running forwarding to a sheet delivering region and a portion during return running for returning via a turnabout region above the course of the portion during feeding running, a blower frame device locating in a region between the portion during feeding running above the sheet delivering region and the portion during return running, a protective cover for covering and isolating a course space occupied by the gripper chain device from the outside and a sucking device for sucking particle-containing air out of each course space of the gripper chain device. In addition, an air tapping device for exhausting some part of the air flow taken in the turnabout region through the gripper chain device is provided near the turnabout region. The outside air is fed in the upper part of the blower frame device under the condition that the air forwarding to the blower frame device intersects the course space of the portion during return running, resulting in purifying the course space.
