PURPOSE: To minimize the variability in indicating temperatures compared with set temperatures by a method wherein stopping command is inputted into a machine having an enough margin in temperature from a central control unit upon generating a demand signal in the demand unit in which a charge for electric power is restricted to a value lower than a given value by limiting the consuming amount of electric power for the air-conditioning machine.

CONSTITUTION: The inputs of set temperature, indicating temperature and the like of respective refrigerating machines, air-conditioning machines and auxiliary machines are inputted into the central control unit 4 through an inputting unit 4a and the data thereof are memorized into a memory 4b. On the other hand, a demand signal 1A is inputted upon demanding from a demand controller 1 through an inputting unit 4c and the data thereof are memorized into the memory unit 4d. In a step 41, when the demand signal 1A is inputted into the central control unit 4, the central control unit 4 calls immediately the set temperature and the indicating temperature in the memory unit 4b through an operating unit 4e, operates the degree of margins in the temperatures of respective stores and rooms (step 42) and outputs the stopping command 4a to the machine and equipment which has the most enough margin in the temperature through an output unit 4f (step 44).
