PURPOSE: To facilitate handling at the time of the pressure contact with a diagnostic model to impart allowance to an operating time, to achieve the accurate fitness to the model by pressure contact, to perform short-time curing at the time of curing and to obtain an accurate impression without generating deformation when a final impression is collected even if a cured body is thin, by using photopolymerizable FRP.
CONSTITUTION: In general, the ratio of an unsaturated polyester resin or radical polymerizable monomer and/or a radical polymerizable oligomer allowed to impregnate a fiber is set so that the ratio of (fiber)/(unsaturated polyester resin or radical polymerizable monomer and/or radical polymerizable oligomer) is about 0.05W1.0 on a wt. basis and consistency easy to operate at the time of the pressure contact of photopolymerizable FRP on a diagnostic model 1 is obtained. In the case of the sheet like photopolymerizable FRP, it is convenient to preliminarily bore holes having a diameter of 1W several mm in the FRP in order to hold an impression material 4. The temp. at the time of photo-setting is usually 0W60°C, pref., 5W50°C and a light irradiation time is usually 1secW7 min.
