Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition excellent in teeth-cleaning power, and excellent in an appearance and aspect stability with the elapse of time.
SOLUTION: In this dentifrice composition containing one, two or more kinds of compounds selected from a straight-chain polyphosphoric acid salt expressed by the formula: Mn+2PnO3n+1 [M is Na or K; (n) is 2 or more] and a cyclic polyphosphoric acid salt expressed by the formula: (MPO3)m [M is Na or K; (m) is 3 or more], together with a lower alcohol having 3 or less carbon atoms and a water-insoluble abrasive agent which does not release calcium ion, the characteristic comprises formulating one, two or more kinds of compounds selected from a hydroxyalkylcellulose, an alginic acid salt and a carboxyvinyl polymer as bonding agents.
